"Hope" cell group, Isaiah 40:31

Hope Cell
"..but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

This is "Hope" cell. It all started from the first meeting we had in March 2008. This cell multiplied from Streams of Life (Andrew & Georgia's cell).

Looking back, 3 years has passed and God has blessed me so much through the people who attend this cell.

Why did I choose the name 'Hope'? Not 'Faith', 'Courage', 'Love' or 'Righteousness'. That's because I began the cell hoping that I will not end up alone during cell meetings. God has never failed to answer this prayer.

Each life that comes to this cell has a story to tell. We are all very different but we have one thing in common - our "Hope". Our hope is in our Lord Jesus Christ. We trust that He will sustain us through this life's journey. We are like burning coals that gather every Friday. We encourage one another to keep the fire in our hearts burning for our Lord.

The cell is like the body of Christ, we have a music teachers, financial consultant, cake restaurant manager, legal advisor, doctor, civil engineer and many more professions. Let me put it this way, some of us like 'chee cheong fun', another 'pan mee' and so on.
